What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the details you provide — typically your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, property information and anything you tell us about your loft. We also record the page you enquired from, referral information and any campaign (UTM) parameters, so we can understand how you reached us.
Why we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, review your loft requirements, arrange a survey or assessment where needed, and provide a recommendation and quotation. If you tick the optional marketing box, we may occasionally send you insulation advice and updates; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Legal basis
We process enquiry data on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent.
Who we share it with
To arrange your work we may share your details with an approved installation partner who would carry out the assessment or installation. We also use service providers (for example our lead-management tools and email providers) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@theinsulationcompany.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
